What's the fuss about external flashes and internal flash?

Published on 2010-04-04 10:11:09

Let's make it clear here now: YOU NEED A FLASH. As a beginner you can shoot very decent pictures with the internal flash of your point and shoot. External flashes are a little more tricky to handle as they need to be finelly tuned to illuminate your subject but lead to clearer crispier pictures with a reduced backscatter. Since one of our tutorials will show you how to remove backscatter from your pictures with Photoshop there's no real reason to invest in an external flash right away.
